Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Briar Queen Chill 29-56
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the intense colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and efficiently with a single coat. Briar Queen Chill is ideal for cold, ghostly blue and turquoise tones and is particularly well suited for ghosts, undead, Nighthaunt models, magical effects, energies, as well as frosty or ethereal details. The paint creates smooth, flowing shading and instantly gives models a mystical and eerie character.
Contrast paints function as both base colour and shade, automatically enhancing details and significantly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Briar Queen Chill alters the colour tone without obscuring the metallic finish, making it ideal for enchanted weapons or ethereal armour.
For best results, light primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are especially suitable, as they optimally support the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
