Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Gryph Charger Grey 29-35
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the intense colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and efficiently with a single coat. Gryph Charger Grey is ideal for light, cool grey tones with a slight blue tint and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, fur, vehicles, weapons, as well as clean, modern, or magically charged designs. The paint creates fine, controlled contrasts and instantly adds depth and clarity to models.
Contrast paints function as both base colour and shade, automatically enhancing details and significantly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Gryph Charger Grey alters the colour tone without obscuring the metallic finish, making it perfect for polished steel surfaces or energy-charged equipment.
For best results, light primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are especially suitable, as they optimally support the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
