Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Layer Calgar Blue 22-16
Layer paints are designed for precise layering and highlighting details on miniatures. Calgar Blue is ideal for bright, clean blue tones and is especially well suited for edge highlights, area highlights, armor, fabrics, and classic Space Marine color schemes. The paint offers balanced coverage and can be applied in a controlled manner to create clean transitions and fine highlights.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Calgar Blue is excellent for brightening darker blue tones or creating clear contrasts on blue surfaces without obscuring details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for smooth surfaces and precise highlights.
