Layer paints are designed for precise layering and the targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Stormhost Silver is ideal for very bright, brilliant silver tones and is particularly well suited for strong highlights, edge accents, armor, weapons, as well as shiny metallic surfaces. The paint offers fine, controlled coverage and allows clean metallic highlights with high light reflection.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Stormhost Silver is excellent for lightening darker metallic tones or adding final points of shine without covering up details or appearing rough.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This way, even metallic surfaces and precise highlights can be achieved.
