Layer paints are designed for precise layering and targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Ulthuan Grey is ideal for very light, cool grey tones and is particularly well suited for highlights on white surfaces, edge accents, armor, fabrics, as well as clean, aetherial or frosty color schemes. The paint offers fine, controlled coverage and allows for smooth transitions without harsh contrasts.
Layer paints are applied in thin coats and allow light and depth to be built up in a controlled manner. Ulthuan Grey is excellent for shading white surfaces or for applying subtle highlights without appearing chalky or obscuring details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for even surfaces and precise highlights.
